UNANG BATCH NG COVID-19 VACCINES, DUMATING NA SA PALAWAN

PALAWAN – Dumating na sa lalawigan ng Palawan ang nasa 5,260 doses ng bakunang CoronaVac mula sa Chinese company na Sinovac, lulan ito ng Philippine Air Force Aircraft ngayong araw sa Antonio Bautista Air Base.

2,140 doses dito ay nakalaan para sa mga medical frontliners ng Palawan.

Ang mga Sinovac vaccines ay agad na dinala sa Cold Storage Facility ng Provincial Health Office para sa tamang pag-imbak nito. Ang mga bakuna na nakalaan naman sa medical frontliners ng Culion ay agad na sinakay sa private aircraft ni Gob. Alvarez para ihatid sa naturang bayan.

Prayoridad naman na mabakunahan ang mahigit 800 medical frontliners na mula sa Roxas Medicare Hospital, Southern Palawan Provincial Hospital sa Brooke’s Point, at Culion Sanitarium and General Hospital na kabilang sa mga designated COVID-19 facilities.

Nanguna sa pagsalubong sina Palawan Governor Jose Ch. Alvarez, PDDRMO Jerry Alili, Acting Provincial Health Officer Dr. Faye Labrador, 3rd District Congressman Gil Acosta Jr, mga kinatawan ng Department of Health, at kinatawan ng City Government of Puerto Princesa. Habang dumating din si Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea kasama ang ilang opisyal ng Philippine Air Force.

Samantala, nakatakdang isagawa ang vaccine ‘simulation’ activity sa bukas, ika-6 ng Marso, taong kasaluluyan sa bayan ng Roxas, Culion at Brooke’s Point.

Nakasaad naman sa ‘COVID-19 Vaccination Ready’ ang Comprehensive Vaccination Masterplan ng lalawigan. Una na ring binanggit ni Gov. JCA na simula palang noong Enero ay inayos na ng Pamahalaang Panlalawigan ang inoculation at vaccination plan para sa lalawigan. */PALAWAN PIO
